AMY BUCHAN

Amy Buchan was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie ON.  With over a decade in education and school leadership, Amy brings a unique perspective to yoga.  She has spent her career supporting growth, learning, and wellbeing.  Yoga became her grounding practice-balancing a busy professional life with mindfulness, movement, and breath.

Amy is a recently certified yoga instructor with a deep passion for mindful movement and holistic wellness. With a background in 200-hour RYT, she guides students through grounding practices that balance body, mind, and spirit.   She is passionate about helping others discover the grounding and healing benefits of yoga.  Her classes are gentle, welcoming, and rooted in connection — perfect for beginners and curious movers alike.

Off the mat, Amy is a passionate advocate for well-being in schools and communities. Whether guiding a class or leading a team, she believes in the power of presence and holding space for others.  Outside of school and the studio, she embraces the outdoors-- mountain biking, hiking and soaking in family time with her two adorable pugs in tow.

Now pursuing her 500-hour RYT, she’s excited to continue expanding her practice and guiding others along the way.  Join her in creating space for presence, growth, and self-discovery. Let’s breathe, move, and learn together.
