KATIE DAVIES

Katie Davies, born and raised in Pierson, Mb, moved to Brandon, Mb after graduating. She met her husband, Huw Davies, and together they settled in Thunder Bay, Huw's hometown. They pursued their education at Confederation College, with Katie completing her Nursing Diploma in Crankbrook, B.C. After Huw joined the military, Katie worked at Pembroke Regional Hospital before getting married and starting a family.

They moved back to Brandon, Mb, where their first child, Gwyneth, was born. Katie worked at Fairview LTC facility and later had their second child, Duncan. Huw's career led them to Terrace Bay, ON, where they now reside. Katie works as a nurse at McCausland Hospital/Wilkes Terrace, providing community care nursing as well. Together with her family, Katie has developed a deep affection for Terrace Bay, treasuring the breathtaking surroundings and the warmth of the community. She enjoys coaching her kids' sports teams and staying active.

Inspired by her nursing experience and expertise, Katie has set her sights on a future in the field of medi spa services. Her goal is to eventually transition her nursing career into a full-time role as an injection nurse, where she can leverage her skills to enhance people's well-being and promote self-care in a unique and specialized way. 

DANIELLE POPE

Danielle Pope, originally from the Western Coast of Newfoundland, has been a resident of Northwestern Ontario since 2005.  With over 13 years of rural nursing experience, Danielle currently works full-time at McCausland Hospital, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate care to her patients.  In 2023, Danielle completed training in botox and filler administration, which sparked her interest in the beauty aspect of these treatments.  However, what truly captivates her is the health benefits that botox can offer.  With a passion for continuous learning, Danielle plans to further her education in this field to expand the range of services she can provide to her clients.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Danielle prioritizes her role as a wife and mother of two.  Raising good humans is her top personal goal, and she treasures the time spent with her family.  They enjoy activities such as camping, hiking, and traveling, relishing the opportunity to explore and navigate life together.  Danielle's commitment to her patients' well-being extends beyond the clinic, as she embraces a holistic approach to life, finding joy in the balance of personal and professional fulfillment.
